PRAYER TEAM MEETING Last Saturday, Jan.12, the Prayer Team met at the Prayer Room to pray. Three People came. 1. Jenny Tolentino 2. Ging Ramos 3, Au Gonzaga We started with 2 Praise & Worship songs followed by the preaching of the Word given by Ging Ramos and it ended with a powerful intercession time. The training was conducted by Armin Ramos for worship leaders and Jonas cubing for the musician. The said training especialy for all the worship leaders and singers, for the technical side, proper handling of the microphone and for leading the people and the musician to worship the Lord.

OUR MISSION:
To share with the children that need us the most, the message of hope and salvation through faith in action programs in education and health, advancing this singular ideal: “WE CARE”.

Through our service to the children, we will see “godly” men and women knowing “His Ways” lead their families, our communities, this nation even the world, in the fast approaching future to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

To raise the necessary funds to implement our faith in action programs and activities that will make a difference in the lives of the children that need us most.

OUR PROGRAMS and ACTIVITIES:
The main areas of concentration for our ministry are EDUCATION and HEALTH.
Under education we have a scholarships program that would provide for underprivileged children the means to have an early childhood education through sponsors and donors.

We will also conduct classes, seminars and trainings for the families of these scholars in such areas as parenting, child care, nutrition, and hygiene.

Hygiene Pack giving to the children together with a class on proper hygiene every three months. (Sept. 2008, Dec. 2008, March 2009)
Slippers for the Children; we will distribute slippers together with the hygiene packs. (Sept. 2008, Dec. 2008, March 2009)

Sponsors and Scholars Week: Every two months. We will encourage the sponsors to visit the scholar and check on the scholars’ progress. We want to develop a strong personal relationship between the two.

2008: One Call
This is an exciting 2008. This year will also set the course of our life as a church for the next 2 years before we reach the end of 2010.
Before we start to do anything big for our 15th Foundation Day at His Life [Feb 17], it would be wise to listen to the One who will give us instructions on how to do it and go for it — God!
Let’s spend time with Him. Let’s hear and obey the Lord together.
This little booklet [get your booklet guide this SUNDAY] serves as a tool for every His Life Ministries member together with our regular goers at church to join this 3-Dayhumiliation, prayer and fasting event come February 5, 6, and 7.
Let this be the time of the year when we can corporately consecrate ourselves, families, ministries and small groups to God. Let’s believe God to step into every area of our lives in ways beyond what any of us can imagine. Let's believe God for power, purity and praise to be the result of this. All for the sake of the Lord Jesus Christ who purchased us by his blood at Calvary.
Great men and women throughout history has been called by God to humble themselves through fasting and prayer. Fasting is a spiritual weapon God uses to advance His kingdom, change the destiny of nations, spark revival, and bring victory in people's lives.
Let’s begin to Pray and Fast believing ...
Believe this is the RIGHT thing to do. Believe you CAN do it. Believe GOD is leading you. Be found reading your BIBLE and PRAYING.

NOTE: PRACTICALS as you start your fast on Feb 5, 6, 7:
· Eat raw fruit and vegetables for two days before starting your fast.
· Likewise, do not eat solid food immediately after your fast.
· Begin eating gradually.
· Break your fast with fruit, vegetables, and soup.
· Reintroduce solid food to your diet gradually and slowly.

Our Father in Heaven, I desire to be a GROWING Christian.
I commit to be excited about the things regarding your Agenda.
I will open my heart and ears to your leading.
I will be on fire as a Christian in my personal life and in this church family.
I begin today to give my attention on how to grow in the area of FOLLOWING Christ, SUBMITTING to
His Will for my life and HONORING Him all the way.
I need your help Lord in developing habits and disciplines in the area of
Personal Bible STUDY, SMALL Group Discipleship, and PRAYER.
So help me LORD to let go of things that don't really matter, and put you first in my life.
Help me to know what to cut out, so I have time for what's important.

This “PARTNERSHIP Seminar” is the basic introduction to our church family designed to clearly explain who and what our church is. This is the great opportunity to learn about His Life Ministries, get to know others and have a free meal as well (Snacks on us). You don’t have to become a member to attend it—it’s just for your information. We’ll explain what we believe, how we operate, and the history of our church. We’ll answer your questions, share information on our church's future plans, and how you may become a member. At the end of the seminar there will be an opportunity for you to decide whether to complete the process and become a member or wait and decide at another time. No pressure whatsoever, we want you to be comfortable with whichever you choose to do. |

PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE MATURITY CAMPAIGN
1. Pray for our church members to be part of this campaign:
A. that they will be part of a small group that meets once a week
B. that more members of the church will enroll in the LTS or any other discipleship program.
C. Pray that God will use our graduate students in the area of discipling people in
Small Groups
2. Pray for our Re-encounter this coming September 28-29, 2007
A. Pray that all leaders of His Life Ministries will participate.
B. Pray for the provision of the Lord that every need will be met.
C. Pray that the leaders will be refreshed and receive more revelations from the Lord.
3. Pray for the Graduation this coming October 25, 2007
A. Pray that all students from the Men, Women, and the Youth will finish the race
with perseverance
B. Pray for the provision of the Lord for the Graduation and Awards night
C. Pray that God will use this new batch of Small Group Leaders to disciple
more people for the glory of God.
4. Pray for the Graduation Run this coming October 13, 2007
A. Pray for the protection of the runners, that God will give them strength, . endurance, patience and guidance of the Holy Spirit as they run
B. Pray that God will provide every need for this event.
5. Pray for the Maturity Team
A. That God will give them wisdom, strength, patience, protection and knowledge in leading this campaign. |
| His Life Ministries is coming up with a Christian magazine which we believe will be a vital tool to reach out and change lives, within our city and even beyond, all for the glory of our God.
"His Life …Our Lives" Mag will be a free publication with at least 20 pages filled with insights, inspirational articles and praise reports, from all departments and contributors comprising HLM as a church. While connecting with all its members, it will at the same time act as an invitation to seeking hearts towards a healthy Christian lifestyle.
Our tentative date of release will be this coming September 8, 2007. We are still open for volunteer staff, contributors and advertisers.
